Over 1,800 Easter eggs were airdropped for youth to scramble to retrieve and redeem for candy.
Airplanes statewide fly in to take part in our annual breakfast.
The Central Michigan Area Concert Band performs to a large crowd at Clare Municipal Airport. Homemade ice cream was enjoyed by all!

Annual Events
Clare Municipal Airport hosts several events each year with the goal of bridging the pilot and non-pilot communities. We welcome the opportunity to share our passion for aviation with others.
Easter Egg Drop
The annual Easter Egg Drop is a partnership with the Clare City Parks and Recreation and the Clare Area Pilots Association. Pilots from the Clare Municipal Airport will drop more than 1,800 plastic eggs from an airplane. Youth ages 12 and under scramble to retrieve the eggs and redeem them for candy.

Breakfast Fly/Drive In
Dawn Patrol at its finest! Delicious breakfast foods are prepared for pilots and non-pilots from around the state. Be sure to fly or drive in to enjoy the fellowship and see some interesting flying machines.

Ice Cream Social/Band Concert
The Clare Area Pilots Association and the 20 Lakes Antique Engine and Tractor Club sponsor our annual Ice Cream Social/Band Concert. Ice cream is prepared with the help of antique engines and provided to all in attendance. Then sit back and enjoy the music of the Central Michigan Area Concert Band as they perform songs that inspire.
